About Me

Hello, and welcome to my website!

I am sport and performance psychologist and provide mental coaching to help individual of all ages and abilities achieve their goals in sport. I work on a one-to-one basis with clients across a variety of sports, with sessions online or over the phone.

I graduated from the University of Surrey in 2008 with a degree in Psychology and after spending a year working within a business psychology consultancy, I realised a combined passion for business and sport. In 2010 I undertook an MSc in Sport & Performance Psychology at London Metropolitan University.

After graduation, I spent time working in elite sport and also set up and ran a recruitment agency in the equestrian sector. In addition, I trained and worked as a Sports Therapist, travelling around Europe working with top athletes including DROPS Pro-Cycling and Dame Sarah Storey. This insight working with high performing individuals and teams only piqued my interest further in the world of sport psychology.

Training with friends at my gym, I won team Gold and Individual Bronze at the National Indoor Rowing Championships in both 2015 and 2016. I am also a keen open-water swimmer and triathlete. In 2018, along with three friends, we completed a English Channel Relay Swim, clocking 14 hours 52 minutes from England to France and raising £2500 for charity. I also now work for SwimTrek -  delivering sport psychology coaching and guiding to swimmers on swimming holidays all over the World - it's a fantastic job! In 2019 I competed at the World Age-Group Aquathlon Championships in Spain, finishing in 13th place. Living in Brighton, when I'm not working you're likely to find me wandering the South Downs with my spaniel Daisy or sea swimming off our beautiful coastline.

Training and competing in sport really gives me the first-hand experience and understanding of what is required to be successful.
